Pope HS PTSA won 2nd place for Outstanding Local Unit High School at the 9th District Spring Conference!

At the March 31st, 2009 Eastern Cobb County Council PTA General Meeting at Kell High School, Pope PTSA won a Soaring Eagle Award for a Best Idea. Gleaned from the priority report that POPE PTSA submitted in March, the summary reads:

Exceptional Children "Pope PTSA showcases the abilities of its Special Needs Students to the community while helping them learn and practice life skills by working customer service and inventory management in the PTSA Spirit Shop, assisting in the folding of the school newsletter and being the "Fluff & Fold" group caring for the linens used at PTSA receptions."

The PTSA is a powerful voice for all children, a relevant resource for families and communities, and a strong advocate for the education and well-being of every child.
